- Buying in store :
I visited many cigars shops and I retain one of them: Casa del Habano in the district of Miramar. It is located on the 5th avenue at the corner of the 16th street in the most prestigious district of La Habana. The place is very luxurious with a giant humidor where you can found almost all the production of Havana cigars. Large choice, councils, prices and the kindness of the manager are their advantages. There's also a restaurant in a patio and a bar to taste a good cigar accompanied by a glass of old rum.
- My favorite cigar :
The kind of cigar I prefer is the robusto. And, among those, my favorite is the Partagas SérieD-N°4 recognizable by his famous red ring with gold letters. It is a strong cigar with rich smoke, easy pulling and full of typically Cuban flavors. Moreover, its price is reasonable if you compare with the Cohiba Robusto. I also like a small machine made cigar from Cuba : the Guantanamera Purito.
- A brand to discover :
La Gloria Cubana is a mark little known. It has a range of seven cigars that have the characteristic to be lengthened and elegant, ideal to prolong a woman hand. This is the only Cuban brand with a female effigy. These cigars are soaves, tasty and well balanced. A fashion brand for women.
The cigar is more popular than ever. Whereas the anti-tobacco
crusade accentuates the rout of the cigarette, the cigar makes a triumphal
opening. It contains 100% of tobacco. There are no additives and no paper.
We can compare the difference between the two products with the difference
between a grand Bordeaux and vinegar. 
At last century, the novelist George Sand who shows up her passion for
the cigar with superb was the first woman to defend it: "A good Havana is
one of the best things than I know. I like to smoke a light cigar with delicate
flavor and average length. After last puff, when you put it down, who can
not be fascinated by this work which the result is half an hour of pleasure?
